Join the British Academy of Audiology (BAA) on the 13th and 14th October 2022 at the Manchester Central Convention Complex for their 18th annual conference and exhibition. With clinical leaders and expert research professionals providing practical, best-practice, presentations in a multitude of areas.

Speaker highlights

Dr Sergi Costafreda Gonzalez, Associate Professor, Mental Health of Older Adults, Division of Psychiatry, UCL | Camden & Islington Foundation Trust will be delivering the Adrian Davis lecture on ‘Hearing loss and cognition. From epidemiology to clinical trials’.

The Bamford lecture to be presented by Dr Paul Johns, Consultant Neuropathologist and Reader in Clinical Neuroanatomy, St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and St George’s, University of London on ‘Neuroscience of hearing and language: The importance of early access to sound’.

Other Keynote speakers include; Professor Sophie Scott CBE, Dr Zara Jay, and Professor Iracema Leroi.


Free paper and poster presentations form an integral part of the conference and are a fantastic way for those working within the audiology field to share best practice, research and network with colleagues.
