This event includes the following two talks:
Standardising expectations and evidence requirements for STP training activities: A training officer’s perspective
This talk will be delivered by Jessica Taylor, Lead Education and Training Facilitator in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing at Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trust. Sharing good practice is full of benefits for STP training officers, allowing us to ensure that all our trainees are being trained to the highest quality practice across all specialties and all accredited sites. This talk aims to tell you how STP training officers in Pharmaceutical Science have come together across the country to implement standards of practice to improve the training and expectations for our trainees. The methods may be adapted to your own specialties and may enable you to form your own STP training officer networks.
Reflective practice as a tool in enhancing learning and professional growth: Experience from an HSST Reproductive Science trainee
This presentation will be delivered by Omonigho Arenrin, a HSST trainee in Reproductive Science. The talk will focus on a Omonigho’sā understanding and engagement with reflective practice as a tool for growth and continuous improvement. Although this talk has a HSST focus, anyone with an interest in the topic is welcome to join us.
