The Radiotherapy Physics team in Swansea would like to invite you to an information and educational day on Tuesday 14th January 2020 to learn about our experiences to date with the C-RAD Catalyst HD surface guided radiotherapy system.
Having recently installed the system on our newest Elekta Versa HD linear accelerator, we are planning on primarily using the SGRT system for patients receiving breast radiotherapy when the machine goes live in spring 2020.
SIGRT is a fast emerging and exciting technology in the field of Radiotherapy, so we would like to share our experiences of why we decided to purchase the Catalyst HD system, give you the opportunity to see the system first hand, and also offer you the opportunity to ask the C-RAD application specialists any questions you might have regarding system performance or clinical implementation.
The day will include talks from
- A C-RAD application specialist, who will give a detailed presentation on the SIGRT system and how centres across the world are utilising it in the clinical practice
- The Swansea Physics Team, sharing our experiences with the system so far
- A C-RAD representative and a Vertec Radiotherapy sales representative, sharing their experiences selling the SIGRT system and other related Radiotherapy products
- The Swansea Planning Team, on our implementation of automated breast planning using Pinnacle
Plus, a hands-on experience session with the C-RAD Catalyst HD system!
