Session 1: What is a Genetic Counsellor?
This 45-minute session is led by a Genetic Counsellor at St Georges Hospital. You will hear a presentation on the role of a Genetic
Counsellor, what a typical work week involves and how genetic counselling differs to other genomic specialities.
The session will finish with an open discussion, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions to a genetic counsellor panel.
