The Scientific Computing team from the Royal Surrey County Hospital is running its annual STP Computing Course.
The course provides a comprehensive overview of computing in healthcare and hands on experience of practical skills transferable back to the hospital workplace. The course will enable Medical Physics STP trainees to complete all ICT-related competencies, case-based discussions (CBD) and direct observations of practical skills (DOPS) for the Scientist Training Program (STP). All STP assessments and a subset of the competencies covered will be signed-off on OneFile where possible (details on the course website).
The course is of relevance to other STP specialisms – in particular Clinical Engineering and Clinical Bioinformatics – and even non-STPs, but have a more detailed look at the website to get an understanding of what is covered.
The course will be held at the University of Surrey from 7th to 10th September 2021.
