Volunteering as a Mentor with In2scienceUK

The In2scienceUK programme provides quality support and opportunities to empower Year 12 students from low-income and under-represented backgrounds to pursue degrees, apprenticeships, and careers in STEM.

Working closely with enthusiastic volunteers, In2scienceUK delivers an inspirational programme of online research courses, skills, and careers workshops and mentoring sessions alongside one-day workplace visits.

Over 2000 students sign up each year and In2scienceUK is looking for volunteers to help by mentoring up to three young people online (2x 45 minute sessions) and hosting a one-day workplace visit in the summer (Covid-19 restrictions permitting).

This event is an opportunity to find out more about the In2scienceUK programme, our volunteering opportunities, the mentor application process and how In2scienceUK will train and support you if you are accepted as a mentor.
