Reflective Practice Resources

A set of reflective practice learning resources for all trainees, training officers and supervisors to support their development in this area.

The aim of these resources is to support the development of reflection, reflective practice and reflective writing.

Reflective writing is important within the assessment of the 2022 STP curriculum in the workplace as well as for trainees on the pre-2022 curriculum who will be undertaking the IACC in 2023 or 2024.

We will actively seek feedback from users of these resources and continuously improve them as we learn from the experience of trainees and trainers.

These materials are available in the new National School of Healthcare Science (NSHCS) Healthcare Science Training Resources catalogue on the NHS Learning Hub. To access the Learning Hub you need to sign up for free. This process is slightly different depending upon whether you have an NHS email or not, as outlined below.

How to sign up for the Learning Hub

If you have an NHS email

To access these resources, you will need to sign up for free to the Learning Hub. If you already have an e-lfh (e-learning for health) login, you can sign into the Learning Hub with your e-lfh credentials. Otherwise, you will need to click on this link to sign up to the Learning Hub. Underneath the green sign-in button you will see ‘Create an account’. Click on this and follow the instructions.

Once you have access to the Learning Hub click this link to access the National School of Healthcare Science catalogue.

If you DO NOT have an NHS email address

Click this link to access a brief form to grant us permission to send your name and e-mail address to the Learning Hub development team to request access.
