How do I become an NHS Apprentice?

Whilst the School has a role in promoting apprenticeships, as well as providing the standards and endpoint assessments for them, we do not handle recruitment. Apprenticeships are employer-led so if you are looking to become a healthcare science apprentice, you will need to find an employer offering an apprenticeship post; you can search for opportunities via the Government’s website or on NHS Jobs. The Health Careers website also features more general information about apprenticeships in the NHS.

You can find more information on our role in apprenticeships, including the standards associated with each level of apprenticeship, on this website.
