Review of outcome by Examination Board
The outcome and report from your assessment will be made available to the examination board. These are being convened to consider all ASP trainee final assessment outcomes for 2021. Each specialty will be represented by the relevant Lead Station Writer and Lead Assessor as members of the Board.
The Examination Board will review the outcome and feedback provided by the assessor panel to ensure that it is fair and robust. The Board will make a recommendation to the final Ratification Board for consideration, followed by ratification by the Head of School.
Confirmation of outcome by Ratification Board
The Ratification Board will ratify the outcome and feedback which will be sent to you in a Candidate Report. The date we will send out your Candidate Report is given at the start of this document.
You are allowed three attempts to pass this assessment. In the event that you are unsuccessful at your first attempt, you will have two further attempts at this assessment.
You may contact the School to arrange a support call with a Training Programme Director. This support call allows you to discuss feedback from the assessor panel and get guidance on how to approach a further attempt at the ASP Professional Discussion final assessment. If you wish, you can invite your supervisor or colleague to attend the support meeting with you, please let the School know who they are to ensure they are invited to the meeting by emailing email@example.com.
