Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Medical Physics STP Open Day

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre (CCC) would like to invite prospective STP applicants in Medical Physics to a virtual open day.

It will be held by trainees and staff in the department and will provide prospective applicants with an insight into the STP training offered by CCC. Both current trainees and qualified Clinical Scientists will deliver presentations describing the application process, details of the training scheme, and the work of a professional medical physicist. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in a Q&A with trainees about their experiences.

12:30-1:05 – Specialism talk Nuclear Medicine
1:05-1:40 – Specialism talk Diagnostic Radiology
10 minute break
1:50-2:25 – Specialism talk Radiotherapy
2:25-3:00 – Specialism talk Non-ionising
3:00-3:30 – Q&A with current STP trainees
