Social media and the STP

Holly O’Dea graduated from the STP in 2019 and is now a Principal Clinical Scientist in Genomics and Education and Training Lead. This talk will focus on Holly’s experience of creating a professional social media platform and how this has led to a number of exciting career opportunities. Professional social media accounts can be utilised to boost your career and network with other healthcare professionals. However, it is important to do this responsibly, following local and national policies. This talk will focus on Holly’s personal experience and lessons learnt as both a former STP trainee and current STP Training Officer.
