Sharing Good Practice for the ETP: ETP – getting the best from the trainees, the South-West experience

As part of our Sharing Good Practice series, we are joined by Emily King, ETP Training Officer and Sarah Wilson, South-West Practice Educator. In this talk Emily and Sarah will explain how in the South-West region they support trainees to be successful on the Echocardiography Training Programme (ETP). This will include an overview of:

• the support provided by the Practice Education Team to departments and trainees
• the support and training provided by the University of the West of England (UWE)
• good recruitment practices – how to ensure you have the right candidate for the post
• supporting the trainee as a training officer
