Sharing Good Practice: Practical applications of Generative AI tools in Healthcare Education and Training

As part of our ‘Sharing Good Practice’ series, we will be joined by Dr Nicholas Hickson (PhD, AFHEA, PgCert HE) and Prof Paul Shore (PhD, MA (Online Ed), PFHEA, FRSB). 

They will be delivering a session on the ‘Practical applications of Generative AI (GAI) tools in Healthcare Education and Training’. This session is designed for trainee healthcare scientists and trainers with basic awareness of GAI concepts. Participants will learn to identify GAI tools applicable to healthcare education, understand specific applications for learning and teaching, apply basic prompting techniques, and recognise limitations of these tools in educational contexts.
