As part of our ‘Sharing Good Practice’ series we have talks by 2 trainees on the Higher Specialist Scientist Training (HSST) programme. These talks are HSST-focused. However, anyone with an interest in the topics is welcome to join us. The talks are as follows:
Networking to manage imposter syndrome
Michal Pruski is a Senior Clinical Scientist in Non-Ionising Radiation Physics and a Consultant Clinical Scientist trainee on the HSST programme. Michal’s talk will cover how networking can give you opportunities that will help you combat your imposter syndrome. Setting yourself with good opportunities is key for developing your skills and competence.
Making connections and networking – developing professional relationships
Ben Johns is a Clinical Scientist in Microbiology and a Consultant Clinical Scientist trainee on the HSST programme. Ben’s talk will focus on developing professional relationships.
