The Royal College of Pathologists, together with Health Education England, are developing an innovative adaptive learning platform to support trainees and practising pathologists in digital learning. The Pathology Portal (previous known as Digital Now) will be a new online platform to enable trainees to access and complete image-based training more equitably, ensure consistency across the country and support a new capability and competence driven approach.

The College is seeking to appoint a Scientist to the Pathology Portal’s Operational Delivery group, to support the project’s activities. In the first instance the College will prioritise those with expertise in areas of cellular pathology or haematopathology but experience of a wide range of specialties is desirable. The main purpose of this role will be to contribute to the overall success of the project as well as assisting with the production of specialist content for the platform. They will be expected to attend regular project meetings and participate in specific user workshops to help inform the design and delivery of the platform and more broadly drive the Portal forward.

Applicants must send their application form to Pathologyportal@rcpath.org by Friday 21st June 2021 at 5PM. The primary date for interviews will be Friday 29th June 2021.

Please contact Michael Brodsky at Pathologyportal@rcpath.org if you have any queries.
