Healthcare Science Rising Star Award
The calibre of individuals at the earlier stages of their careers in healthcare science has never been greater with training programmes continuing to attract some of the best and brightest into the NHS. Our judges are looking for individuals who are already performing highly in their given area and show signs of greater things to come. Credit will be given to those showing a clear vision and demonstrating the impact of their work.
Excellence in Healthcare Science Workforce Transformation Award
The workforce, how we educate, train and use their skills in innovative ways are vital in ensuring that healthcare scientists are able to work at the highest level and play their vital role in healthcare, reach their potential and do the best by patients.
Excellence in Healthcare Science Research and Innovation Award
Innovation in Healthcare science services, delivery and the wider NHS are critical for transforming services, improving outcomes, and reducing costs. The category is focused on healthcare scientists who have undertaken ground-breaking translational scientific work and established strong collaborations for innovation and enterprise to make a real difference in patient care.

This award will celebrate an exceptional individual who has continually championed healthcare science to transform patient care and improve outcomes. The winner will be an exemplar to others in their contribution beyond the boundaries of their service across service delivery, training and development, engagement and collaboration, innovation, and partnerships.
