Showcase your impact in laboratory medicine

There is still time to submit your application for the Association for Laboratory Medicine 2026 Impact Award, which recognises LabMed Members who have delivered real, measurable change in laboratory medicine. The deadline is Thursday 26 February 2026.

If you or your team have implemented an initiative that has improved a service within the last 5 years, this is your opportunity to showcase that work and gain national recognition.

The Impact Award celebrates implemented initiatives – not research proposals or studies – that have led to positive change, including:

  • improvements to the patient pathway or experience
  • service or system transformation
  • workforce development or wellbeing
  • environmental sustainability
  • inclusive or equitable healthcare
