The aim of this project is to devise improved treatment planning and delivery techniques for intracranial Stereotactic RadioSurgery (SRS) treatments. This project will be focused on optimisation and development of SRS using the single isocentre VMAT technique on a LINAC for treatment of multiple metastases. The novelty of this project is in devising techniques to determine the optimal collimator angles for SRS, exploring the feasibility and effectiveness of dynamic collimator angles and exploring feasibility and effectiveness of dynamic couch rotation using a TrueBeam STx and Eclipse V15. In addition, use of synthetic CT for more efficient SRS planning will be explored.
