Monoclonal Gammopathy of Undetermined Significance (MGUS) is a precursor to multiple myeloma, yet many challenges remain in its management. These include better identifying high-risk patients, developing personalised treatment plans, and addressing the emotional and practical impacts on patients. Current risk models have limitations, and ongoing research aims to improve early detection, monitoring, and patient support to enhance outcomes and quality of life.
