Module aim
- Whilst appropriate for a clinical andrologist, some of the training activities, specifically relating to informing patients of their karyotype analyses results and/or other genomic test results feel incredibly niche in an already niche (and often overlooked) speciality. Many clinics often operate without andrologists and those that do operate with andrologists may not be involved in treatment and/or genomic testing. Further to this, expecting an andrologist to have an in-depth knowledge of the above pathway, especially if their clinic is not affiliated with a genomics hub, is a tall order. I was fortunate enough to have access and a reasonable understanding of the above but other trainees may not be so fortunate.
S-RA-S5 Semen Processing for Treatment and Fertility Preservation
