Academy for Healthcare Science looking to expand its Assessor pool in Clinical Biochemistry

The Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) awards a Certificate of Equivalence to individuals who have worked in healthcare or science in the UK, EU or overseas, seeking recognition that their previous training, qualifications and experience meet the specified programme learning outcomes outlined in Modernising Scientific Careers curricula.

The Scientist Training Programme (STP) Certificate of Equivalence is an approved award which gives eligibility to apply to the Health Professions Council (HPC) Register as a Clinical Scientist.

The STP Equivalence process involves the assessment of a portfolio by a panel comprising of two professional assessors (one specialist and one clinical), followed by an interview chaired by a lay assessor.

The Academy is looking to expand its Assessor pool in Clinical Biochemistry.
