T-Levels are new technical study programmes, designed with employers to give young people the skills that industry needs. T Levels will become one of the major vocational options for students to study at level 3 alongside apprenticeships and A Levels.

NCFE (Northern Council for Further Education) has been awarded the  contract by the DfE and IfATE to develop the Healthcare Science T Level which covers the specialism Assisting in Healthcare Sciences. They have various opportunities to be involved in the T Level project.

NCFE are now seeking Healthcare Science specialists who would like to use their knowledge to support the writing and reviewing the technical qualification content for these T Levels. This will ensure it is fit for purpose and provides young learners with the best opportunity to succeed in their future careers. Writers and reviewers are paid per day for their involvement and you don’t need to be located in the North East of England to take part.

To ensure we comply with HMRC guidelines, individuals will need to be set up a self-employed or part of a company which we can pay directly for the time spent. We have also had a number of NHS employees who have chosen to take part to enhance their CPD.

If you want more information please contact Mark at the NCFE on MarkHirst@ncfe.org.uk
