Stephen Kidd, an STP microbiology trainee, flew back to Sierra Leone in October to help set up a new diagnositc service. Stephen had previously been out there to help in the fight against ebola. He decided to go back when he was asked by Public Health England to help them build their legacy in the aftermath of the outbreak by setting up a new diagnostic service.

Stephen’s latest blog entry shows a poster which sends out a clear message to the community and ebola survivors. Other posters encourage regular hand washing and what to do if you think someone in your family is ill. To see more about the posters and to keep up to date about Stephen’s experiences in Sierra Leone visit hisĀ blog.
