Introducing our new Lead Editor for the Echocardiography Training Programme

We are very pleased to introduce Lee Bancroft as Lead Editor for the Echocardiography Training Programme (ETP) and we are looking forward to working with Lee on the first review of the ETP curriculum. Lee is an Expert Lead Echocardiographer at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust and has a BSE Level 2 accreditation with 15 years’ experience working in cardiac science.

April 2023 sees our first full ETP cohort complete the programme, and now that the new STP curriculum review is being delivered, the time is right to review the ETP curriculum to ensure that it still meets the needs of our trainees and is fit for the future. We are delighted to have Lee on board, his experience and knowledge make him a great fit for the role and I look forward to supporting him as he leads the curriculum review group.
