We are pleased to share with you the draft curriculum for the STP in Neurophysiology: Interoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM). This curriculum provides a specialist route in Interoperative Neuromonitoring through the Neurophysiology Scientist Training Programme (STP). All trainees will follow a shared curriculum to build a common skill set in Neurophysiology, with new modules developed for the later stages of training for trainees following the IOMN route. These new modules have been developed by scientific experts in the field to provide trainees with the knowledge and skills to begin their career as a Clinical Scientist in Neurophysiology specialising in Interoperative Neuromonitoring. The curriculum is expected to be delivered from September 2025.

After much hard work from the curriculum review group to draft the modules required to expand the curriculum, we are now asking for your feedback on the suitability of the programme to meet current and future workforce needs. Your feedback will inform the development of final curricula. You can provide feedback until 5:00pm on Sunday 25 February 2024.
