Review of level 4 standard for healthcare science associate

As part of its process for approval and implementation before it can be approved and obtain ministerial sign off, the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) needs employers to review the attached Level 4 Standard for Healthcare Science Associate. The draft Standard enables employers to have wide flexibility to choose the development programme suitable for the learner, employer and patient requirements.
If you have any comments on the draft Standard, please email Shelley Heard ( sheard49@gmail.com) as soon as possible. If you are able to support the Standard as it is currently presented, please complete the attached template letter of support on your letterhead (the letter is in the format required by BIS) and return it to Shelley Heard by the 15th February so that it can be submitted to BIS for its consideration at the end of February.
