Can EM tracking be used to aid needle insertion in complex treatments involving the Elekta Advanced Gynaecological Applicator (AGA), where interstitial needles are difficult to visualise and insert in real time under ultrasound guidance? EM tracking has the potential to improve accuracy and provide vital positioning information currently not available in theatre.
