Genomic Counselling – Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust
Trainees will be based at Birmingham Women’s Hospital but will attend clinics around the West Midlands area on a regular basis to gain a breadth of experience. Therefore travel will be required (with expenses paid). We operate a flexible hybrid model of working that facilitates some working from home and flexible working.
Genomic Counselling – Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust
The trainee will be primarily based at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Part of the Introduction to Genomics in Mainstream Healthcare and Social Care rotation in year one will be at St. Marks Hospital, and part at the Royal Brompton, so the trainee will need to travel there. We also do satellite clinics so the trainee may have an opportunity to travel to different hospitals in our catchment area for clinics.
Genomic Counselling – Liverpool Women’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
Travel to peripheral clinics in Merseyside and Cheshire may be required.
Genomic Counselling – London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust
To be primarily office based with lab rotations in year 1.
Genomic Counselling – Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust
STP Genomic Counselling training in Manchester will support trainees to gain experience across multiple specialties including genetic counselling for cancer, cardiac, ophthalmology, neurogenetics and developmental disorders, including prenatal. We are a large dynamic team with a strong track record in training for genetic counsellors.
Genomic Counselling – St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
The successful applicant will primarily be based at St George’s Hospital in Tooting, London but will also need to travel to clinics we hold across South London, Surrey and West Sussex as required.
Genomic Counselling – University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust
The Wessex Clinical Genetics Service serves a population of over 3 million patients across the region. Clinical Genetics clinics take place across University Hospital Southampton sites as well as peripheral clinics at other hospitals in Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset. STP trainees are therefore expected to arrange their own travel to and from clinics, and rotational elements of training that may take place away from the base hospital.
Genomic Counselling – University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust
STP Genomic Counselling Trainees at UHBW will need to be able to travel to our peripheral bases and to other off-site clinics.
