The successful STP trainee appointed to Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust will also be part of the Kent and Medway Pathology Network (KMPN). Whilst primarily based at the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals, some specialisms will be undertaken at East Kent Hospitals University Foundation NHS Trust at their Ashford and Canterbury sites. There will also be opportunities to undertake training at all of the sites within the KMPN and as such the STP trainee must be prepared to travel within Kent. There is also the possibility that some specialist training and meetings will occur in London.
