The majority of the training will take place at the main site, Northwick Park Hospital, where training will include automation, manual work and mass spectrometry. There will also be the opportunity to attend clinics in areas such as lipids, bone, haematology, and endocrinology, as well as access and training with the POCT team.

Additional training will take place at sites across London to allow special testing to be covered including genetics rotation at GOSH, toxicology at King’s College Hospital, and antenatal screening at Barking Hospital Trust. Paediatric Biochemistry training will take place at either GOSH or St. Thomas’ Hospital.
