Medical Physics – Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust
This post will be based in the RUH Imaging Physics group. You will specialise in either Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Safety and Diagnostic Radiology.
RUH Imaging Physics consists of three sections: a clinical Nuclear Medicine service (with two SPECT/CT and one PET/CT cameras), Diagnostic Radiology and Radiation Protection (which provides expert scientific and technical advice to multiple departments at the RUH and external customers), and Clinical Measurement (including clinical DEXA, fracture liaison service, and microvascular imaging).
Imaging Physics is one of three groups within the department of Medical Physics and Bioengineering at the RUH in Bath; rotational placements will be available in other areas within the department and in collaboration with Bristol and other providers in the South West. You will complete the MSc in Clinical Sciences (Medical Physics) at the University of Liverpool.
