Respiratory and Sleep Science – University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust
Respiratory Physiology of UHNM NHS Trust has been supporting STP trainee’s since the inception of the programme and is well placed to offer training in the full range of respiratory and sleep investigations a student would be expected to cover as part of their course. Additionally, we have fostered strong bonds with other departments to facilitate easy organisation of rotational modules. UHNM is a large teaching hospital with access to a vast, on-site library and digital access to the latest research papers. Respiratory and sleep departments are involved in cross site working (between Royal Stoke and County). The successful candidate will be expected to attend both sites on a monthly rota which is flexible to allow the inclusion of annual leave and study commitments. There is also a regular shuttle bus which runs between both sites to facilitate an easy commute.
