The trainee will support the delivery of a diverse range of services in the following facilities:

  • Unlicensed units for aseptic preparation and quality assurance (QA) of injectable medicines such as chemotherapy
  • MHRA licensed units for: the preparation and QA of aseptic (including radiopharmaceutical), sterile, and non-sterile medicinal products; and quality control (QC) testing
    Facilities delivering MGPS-QC services.
  • The post will primarily be based at Bradford Royal Infirmary (QA/QC and Radiopharmacy), St Luke’s Hospital, Bradford (Aseptics) and Huddersfield Pharmacy Specials (Production).

Some time will also be spent at Airedale General Hospital and other external sites to gain the necessary training. Trainees will be expected to make their own travel between sites- there are good transport links to each of these and they are a commutable distance from Bradford.
