Trainees will join our dynamic and progressive Audiology teams with clinics located at Kingston and Roehampton. They will join a multidisciplinary team of extended scope Audiologists, Specialist Audiologist, Clinical Scientists, Newborn Hearing Screeners, clinical nurse specialists, voice therapists and ENT specialists. The department is accredited under the Improving Quality in Physiological Measurement Services (IQIPS) programme to provide the full scope of routine and complex paediatric and adult services.

Trainees will learn how to perform and interpret clinical, and specialist scientific processes and practical experience of hearing, tinnitus and balance disorders and will learn how to:

  • Carry out complex scientific and clinical roles, including working directly with patients
  • Analyse, interpret and compare investigative and clinical options
  • Make judgements, including clinical and differential judgements, involving complicated facts or situations
  • Initiate and undertake innovation, improvement and R&D and be involved in the education of trainees and other learners in the workplace
