The Royal Surrey Foundation Trust Medical Physics team has a long history of supporting training and has a number of trainees each year in Medical Physics and Scientific Computing. You will therefore be supported by an experienced training team and have peer support from over 10 trainees in Medical Physics. You will primarily be based at RSFT Trust in Guildford but travel may be required with registered staff to our satellite centres or other sites where we provide Medical Physics expertise. We are able to support specialisms in Radiotherapy Physics, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Safety and Diagnostic Radiology. Specialism allocation is ideally done by trainee preference however in the event of a section being unable to support the number of trainees requesting to specialise in their area this will be done by competitive interview. You will also be supported to develop professional and leadership skills, engaging with trust and regional trainee networks.
