Accredited departments annual monitoring 2017

Departments should ensure that the annual monitoring return is completed by 30th November 2017

All departments that have been accredited as STP training providers on or before 31st March 2017 are now being asked to complete their annual monitoring return for 2017.

Annual monitoring is done through a short and simple electronic form that, in most cases, should take no more than 20 minutes to complete. Departments will be asked for details of any changes in the department that influence or affect the delivery of training. These include:

  • Progress against the department’s action plan
  • Notification of any difficulties encountered in delivering the STP programme
  • Outcomes for trainee(s) who have completed the programme.

Completing annual monitoring is a requirement for maintaining a department’s accreditation. Departments should ensure that the annual monitoring return is completed by 30th November 2017
