Faculty of Clinical Informatics to host a webinar on applying to join the Faculty

On Friday 21st August, from 12.30 – 1.30pm, the Faculty of Clinical Informatics will be hosting a lunchtime webinar/workshop session on applying to join the FCI.

The webinar, as part of the current application period, will include short presentations from current FCI members on why they joined the Faculty and their experiences so far, followed by a panel discussion to answer questions from attendees about the Faculty. Panel members include Lesley Holdsworth (Clinical Lead for Digital Health & Care, Scottish Government), Maggie Lay (Clinical Informatics Lead at NHS South, Central and West), Rafiah Badat (Speech & Language Therapist & NIHR Clinical Doctoral Research Fellow, St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) & Kieran Zucker (Clinical Research Fellow at University of Leeds, co-founder of FCI Early Careers Group).

This will be followed by a short workshop and Q&A on filling out the application form, led by the Chair and Vice Chair of the Faculty, Professor Jonathan Kay and Dr Anne Marie Cunningham.
