News from the Chief Scientific Officer

“Supporting and developing clinical leadership across the system is one of our key priorities. In October last year we contacted provider trusts across the system and asked them to identify Lead Healthcare Scientists (LHS) within their organisations. The purpose of the role is to provide leadership and strategic direction to improve the delivery of healthcare services. So far we have 85 confirmed LHS and other trusts are in the process of appointing to the role.  To support the LHS in their role we will be running two rounds of leadership training for the LHS; one in London and one in Manchester so that as many people as possible can attend.”

Places are still available and the dates for this training are below:

London: Evening of Tuesday 7 February and day of Wednesday 8 February. Register here.

Manchester: Evening of Thursday 9th February and day of Friday 10th February. Register here.
