New Postgraduate Bridging Course for Cardiac, Respiratory and Sleep Physiology

It is well recognised that many sport science graduates are interested in pursuing a career in cardiac physiology and respiratory & sleep physiology. Despite this, there is no current accredited pathway for non healthcare science graduates to train as clinical physiologists. Following recent discussions with professional bodies the NSHCS has agreed to support initiatives to create a course which will act as a “bridging course” for such graduates. This course will complement the PTP and STP programs with a view to increasing the workforce in these areas
