We are currently looking for highly passionate and experienced individuals to apply for the position of Lead Editor within the fields of Cardiac, Critical Care, Vascular or Respiratory & Sleep Sciences (CCVRS).

The role

As part of the STP Curriculum Content Review, you will be working closely alongside the School by acting as the head of your specialty curriculum review group. This will involve drawing together the Curriculum Review Group, helping to chair meetings and writing and steering the direction of the newly revised specialty curriculum. Your specialty curriculum review group members will provide insight, expertise, and knowledge and will include:

  • Clinical scientists and subject experts,
  • Academics,
  • Professional body members,
  • HEI Representatives and,
  • Patient and public representatives

You will need to represent the standards of the STP Curriculum, ensuring that trainees will be eligible for registration as Clinical Scientists with the HCPC on completion of their training. Applications from professionals with alternative registration and/or standing within their profession who can embody these standards will be considered.

You will be appointed as Lead Editor for the duration of the Curriculum Content Review and will be paid for your contribution.

Criteria

To be considered as Lead Editor, you must:

  • have at least three years professional experience,
  • be involved in the delivery of the STP programme and,
  • be involved in the advancement of your specialty.
