AHCS Accredited register to include Clinical Physiologists
To apply to join the register you must be a practising Clinical Physiologist, from a recognised education programme.

The Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) has announced that the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care (PSA) has agreed to extend the AHCS Accredited Register to include a Register for Clinical Physiologists.
Clinical Physiologists will sit within the register, alongside the Higher Specialist Scientist, Practitioner and Medical Illustrator parts of the register.
This accreditation from the PSA is confirmation that the AHCS has met the standards of governance expected. These standards include setting, education and training, management of the register and provision of information and complaints handling.
To apply to join the register you must be a practising Clinical Physiologist, from a recognised education programme. A list of approved programmes is available here.
