The Health Careers website is asking for your help on updating the role information for two of the healthcare science subjects. These are:

  • Imaging (ionising)
  • Clinical measurement and development

If you can help them by providing this information, please use the role proforma document supplied. The role information needs to follow a series of common headings and be pitched at a young reading age to maximise accessibility. You can view examples of what’s currently available by visiting the Health Careers website and looking specifically at the roles in healthcare science.

Earlier this year Health Careers were also asking for help to populate its website with real-life stories of healthcare science staff working at different levels. Since then over 50 new stories have been generated for the website, however there are three subjects that still require some input. These are:

  • Bioinformatics (health informatics)
  • Cellular sciences (although we have numerous biomedical scientist pro-formas)
  • Infection sciences (although we have numerous biomedical scientist pro-formas)

Once general careers information about imaging (ionising) and clinical measurement and development has been received, real–life stories will be required for these as well!

If you can help by providing a real life story on any of these subjects please use the attached pro-forma.

Please email all information to HEE.Healthcareers@nhs.net
