This month the first female trainee has completed the Higher Specialist Scientist Training programme; the School would like to highlight two upcoming leadership development opportunities for women in Healthcare Science.

The next few weeks offers the last chance to apply for the 2019 CSOWISE Healthcare Science Leadership Development Programme for NHS England. This programme will build the next generation of leaders within Healthcare Science and it is a fantastic opportunity for mid-career female healthcare scientists in the NHS to gain invaluable leadership experience. On Wednesday May 1st the Chief Scientific Officer is hosting a Women in Healthcare Science Leadership Day. This is a free one-day conference with senior leaders from NHS England and a leadership coaching session delivered by the founder and managing Director of Skills 4.
