Selection process and interview

The recruitment process including advertising, applications, interviews and selection will be conducted by the employing organisation and overseen by the National School of Healthcare Science (NSHCS).

Employing organisations will advertise their available ETP posts via NHS job websites e.g. TRAC and NHS Jobs. Applicants can set up alerts on these websites to inform them of when a post becomes available. For any queries relating to the organisation, applicants should contact the named person or department, as detailed on the job advertisement.

All successful applicants will need to be cleared via the NSHCS prior to any pre-employment checks beginning or formal offers being made. Please be aware this may incur a delay in between verbal offers and commencement of onboarding processes.

If an applicant is applying to multiple posts and is offered more than one position, they must only accept at one location. Failure to do so may result in withdrawal from the ETP programme.
