Requirement

Trainee
  • Have a discussion with Training Officer based on activities outlined in email from the School.
Training Officer
  • Have a discussion with trainee based on activities outlined in email from the School.
NSHCS
  • Contact trainees and Training Officer to outline activities that should be in place.

Progression point: end of year 1 review - September

Requirement

  • Phase 1 rotations complete
  • End of year review meeting trainee/Training Officer

Responsibilities

Trainee
  • Meet relevant requirements by 30 September
  • Raise concern/report by exception (if applicable)
  • Engage with any follow-up as required
Training Officer
  • Complete ‘end of year 1 review’ on OneFile (during September)
  • Raise concern/report by exception (if applicable)
  • Engage with any follow-up as required
NSHCS
  • Data check on OneFile
  • Notify trainees and Training Officers of outcome via email
  • Co-ordinate follow-up meeting if required

Progression point: end of year 2 review - September

Requirement

  • 50% completion of S-C1
  • End of year review meeting trainee/Training Officer

Plus

  • 100% completion of Phase 2 modules

Or

  • 60% overall completion
  • 100% completion of S-C2
