Message from Training Programme Director
Jane Lynch
Welcome to the May 2023 ETP Memo.
Spring has been a busy time for ETP trainees, with many of you taking either the BSE theory exam or the BSE practical assessment exam. I would like to congratulate all those trainees who have recently passed the BSE theory exam. Well done to you all. Next step is to register for the practical assessment day. For those of you who didn’t quite manage it this time, don’t be too disheartened. You will have another opportunity in October and will have a really great chance of passing it then based on the training you have and your learning from what was challenging this time.
For those who passed the practical assessment and completed the programme, congratulations and well done to you. It is so rewarding for us to see the results of all your hard work. The assessors at the practical assessment were impressed by the standard of images showcased demonstrating your skills. For any trainees that need to resubmit, you also have done really well and I wish you all the best with your resubmission.
None of these achievements would be possible without the support and enthusiasm of our training officers, regional training leads, university partners and everyone else who has contributed to training. Thank you all for your hard work.
