As a recruitment shortlister, you will help us by reading applications for the commissioned training programmes online and scoring them using a matrix.

Role description

The purpose is to decide who should go forward to interview. You will look at questions such as qualifications, knowledge, and motivation.

The task is similar to shortlisting job applicants from an application form. It isn’t your decision alone: at least one other shortlister will look at each application, so there is a consensus. We try to ensure you do not have to review too great a number of applications, and we try to give you adequate time.

Min criteria/ experience

Consultant Clinical Scientist or equivalent. You should have specialist knowledge of the discipline for which you are shortlisting.

Typical time commitment per event or per year

Normally 1 day a year, possibly 2 days.

Compensation for time

CPD recognition through email confirmation.
