As a recruitment shortlister you help us by reading applications for the commissioned training programmes online and scoring them using a matrix.

Role description

The purpose is to decide who should go forward to interview. You will look at questions such as knowledge, commitment, scientific expertise and motivation.

The task is similar to shortlisting job applicants from an application form. It isn’t your decision alone: at least one other short lister will look at each application, so there is a consensus. We try to ensure you do not have to review too great a number of applications, and we try to give you adequate time.

Min criteria/experience

Clinical Scientist with post-qualification experience in the workplace (normally at least 1 year).

Typical time commitment per event or per year

1 to 2 days minimum expectation but more time would be greatly welcomed.

Compensation for time

Confirmation of your participation will be provided for your CPD returns.
