Summer sitting
The summer sitting of the STP Final Year Assessment will begin on the 1st Monday of July and run for the following 3 weeks.
Trainees expecting to complete their assessment in the summer sitting, need to be available for all the working days included in this assessment sitting. Trainees will be assigned a date and time to attend their assessment on any working day during this assessment sitting.
Dates for the summer sitting
- 7 to 25 July 2025
- 6 to 24 July 2026
- 5 to 23 July 2027
- 3 to 21 July 2028
Winter sitting
The winter sitting of the STP Final Year Assessment will begin on the 4th Monday in January and run for the following 2 weeks.
Trainees expecting to complete their assessment in the winter sitting, need to be available for all the working days included in this assessment sitting. Trainees will be assigned a date and time to attend their assessment on a working day during this assessment sitting.

- 26 January to 6 February 2026
- 25 January to 5 February 2027
- 24 January to 4 February 2028
- 22 January to 2 February 2029
